Recently one of my friends gifted me a beautiful drawing which had several human heads with different expressions. The heads were connected to each other – probably implying the different emotional states and personalities of people around us.
I’ve found that, sometimes people don’t return my messages or calls or do not talk nicely to me. I wrongly assumed it was their character trait.
But later I found that the same person has the time to talk for long hours with people, other than me. These same people returned calls promptly and spoke to people with respect and care. Then I realized that, it was just their behavior towards me, that was hostile.
Dear friend, please understand that, if your son or daughter or spouse lies to you or cheats on you, there is a very high probability that, they might have reserved that special treatment for you. JUST FOR YOU. They might not be inherently ‘evil ‘ people.
Now I’m not implying that, you deserve this treatment. Because, you do not. You don’t deserve this kind of behavior from anyone. But the fact still remains the same. The kind of treatment you receive from someone could be very specific to you and not related to their overall character. Now it’s your choice to accept it, ignore it or move away from them.
