Held every two years, last time it was held was in the beginning of the year 2015. This takes place at Padubidri, near Mangalore
The concept is to pray to Brahma through the Shiva linga which is the main prathishtha. The temple is decorated with coconuts, beetel leaves and flowers.
It is believed that the Naga devata will enter the body of the priest ( non Brahmin ) They use a special yantra for this ( shown below ) The mandala has patterns resembling the momement of the snake on the ground. Observer the pattern covering the outer layer.
