I had a very interesting argument with my mother today. She wanted to talk to me about a lot of problems that seems to be going around in the lives of people around her. I stopped her and told her that, although I would love to hear what she wanted to say, the negative energy generated from the conversation will neither benefit us ( me and mom ) nor the people about whom we are talking about.
I told her instead, she could talk to me about the beautiful little things she is able to achieve in her life, a new recipe which worked out, new pattern she learned in stitching and so on.
After I hung up the phone, I thought about this, if you are give a golden caliper as a gift, would you use it to pick up diamonds or would you use it to pick sh1t from the drain ? Remember, time is the most precious gift you can ever get from God, so make worthy use of it.
